CARE INTERNATIONAL, GHANA- YEN SORE PROGRAM
UCSOND is one of the four strategic partners of Care participating in the implementation of the Yen Sore Program-a four year funded program-, under Care’s Natural Resource Governance program in Ghana. Under the program, UCSOND is being supported to implement projects and activities in the oil and gas sector among others. The program is also supporting capacity development of UCSOND and its staff.
CARE GHANA, ISODEC AND IBIS-GSAM PROJECT
Ghana’s Strengthening Accountability Mechanism (GSAM) project is a five year USAID funded project, which focuses on strengthening citizens’ oversight of capital development projects to improve local government transparency, accountability and performance in 100 districts of Ghana. A consortium of three partners led by CARE International, Ghana is implementing the project. UCSOND is working in four of the districts namely Ahanta West, Jomoro, Shama and Amenfi East.
WESTERN REGION COASTAL FOUNDATION PROJECT-DAI
The Western Region Coastal Foundation program (WRCF) is a five-year DFID-funded project in the Western Region which aims to improve stability and development prospects in the Western Region particularly in the six coastal districts affected by oil and gas operations. The activities implemented through WRCF program will promote alternative livelihoods, enable better business support service, and develop education and employment training programs. UCSOND is one of the conversation managers.
